Unfolded - 豫园, 2021

在复星艺术上海豫园驻地期间，作者走访了豫园旁边的将要被拆迁的区域，这片区域过几个月将会成为历史，在上海的城市更新的进程中被渐渐遗忘。豫园的白墙里是繁华的商圈，另一侧是被混凝土填满的即将拆迁的居民小区。作者想要留下这片区域的痕迹，带到豫园里成为豫园的一部分，作为纪念这片区域的仪式，于是记录下了即将被拆掉的门牌号的影像和文字资料，组成了一张豫园园林的地图，以一种纪念性的，带仪式感的形式留存下来，因为豫园园林大概率可以长时间保留，希望它能承载着周边的一些痕迹生活下去。
During Fosun residency in Shanghai, outside of the wall of Yu garden there is a district that is going to be demolished. This district will become history in a few months and will be gradually forgotten in the process of urban renewal in Shanghai. One side of the white wall --- the Yu Garden is bustling with noise and excitement, while on the other side of the wall is a residential area filled with concrete that is about to be demolished. I recorded the images and texts of the door numbers of the demolished district, and formed them into a map of the Yu Gardens. The Yu garden is going to live for a long time, due to its historical and commercial value, so I hope that it can carry a part of memory of the demolished surrounding to go on.
